Mental Health Awareness Month

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, let’s discuss a topic that has been overlooked until recently.

Argh U Mad’s Newsletter is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

Most adults may think of Cassie’s recent video that was leaked on the internet, where her attacker, Sean,“Puffy” “Puff Daddy” “P. Diddy” “Love” Combs (This is the name of one person 🙄), was seen brutally knocking down the small framed singer, as she intentionally tried to leave a hotel room.

While watching the video, the only thing I could think about was “What was he saying to her as he violently struck her down and dragged her back into that hotel room?”

I have never been in a physically abusive relationship, but I do know what it feels like to be verbally and emotionally abused by someone who thinks they have power and or control over you.

In light of Mental Health Awareness Month, and the close of my recent public relationship I wanted to share and remind us all that “it’s ok to say I’m not ok”.

I’m currently seeking a new therapist for myself and my daughter as we both were affected by the change in this man’s character once the relationship came to an end.
